Earlier in the year, local authorities across the UK were invited to submit proposals for projects to be funded by the Community Renewal Fund.  We’ve been waiting with fingers crossed for the successful projects to be announced, and we are delighted to say that the news is IN!!!  Here are the projects in our region (Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot) that have received a combined £10m funding from the UK Community Renewal Fund!

Carmarthenshire – £2.9m in total for:

Neath Port Talbot – £2.4m in total for:

  • A roadmap for restoring, enhancing and connecting Green Infrastructure for people and nature in a post-industrial landscape
  • Digital Bridges -Bridging the Digital Divide
  • JOBSTART
  • Neath Port Talbot Third Sector Grant Scheme
  • Next Steps – Employability Support and Work Experience
  • Supporting Business Growth and Innovation

Pembrokeshire – £2.9m in total for:

  • Climate Adaptation – Addressing climate risks in Pembrokeshire’s Communities
  • Developing the Pembroke Town Walls Management Plan
  • Ecosystem Enterprise Partnership – Building Natural Solutions
  • ESP – Enterprise & Skills Pembrokeshire
  • Feasibility Study – Winter Tourism in North East Pembrokeshire
  • Passion & Parking at Freshwater West – working together for a sustainable future
  • Pembrokeshire Open to All
  • Resourceful Communities: Towards a wellbeing economy

Swansea – £2.6m in total for:
