About Fairer Future
Fairer Future provides training and consultancy to improve understanding of poverty and economic inequality.
People often understand that poverty is worsening in the UK; they care about what this means for those directly affected, they may realise that the impacts have negative results for the whole of our society and they may recognise that climate crisis and social inequality are linked. But often, they aren't able to speak about poverty with confidence, feeling baffled by terminology ("Minimum Wage Vs National Living Wage?"), confused by things they've read or seen ("Why DO people on such low incomes have huge TVs?") and embarrassed to comment on situations they haven't experienced first-hand. Fairer Future's training provides definitions, models and tools to help people discuss and address poverty effectively, and so respond better to their service users, the wider community, and the Well-Being of Future Generations Act.
