RDM Electrical and Mechanical Services has hired a further three new members of staff as the company seeks to expand its delivery capabilities.
Anthony Brunton from Swansea has been hired as MOD Contracts Director. His new role will see him manage a significant government contract and integration as a Tier 1 supplier and grow the level of hard services currently being supplied by RDM. He has over 35 years’ experience in maintenance and facilities management (FM) delivery, having worked as an FM provider in the UK, Europe and Middle East. More recently, Brunton has worked client side, managing FM service delivery for high profile portfolios. He is a highly qualified electrical engineer with substantial mechanical experience and has a post graduate degree in property and facilities management.
Grant Clatworthy from Bridgend has joined RDM as Mechanical Services Manager to oversee all aspects relating to delivery of mechanical services across the company and to grow project works. Although mechanically biased, Clatworthy has extensive experience in his previous role of delivering multi-discipline projects. His previous roles have included bid manager at a building services company, contracts manager and senior projects engineer. He has been involved in numerous large-scale projects throughout the South Wales region including the University Hospital of Wales and NGD Data Centre, Newport.
Helen Eames from Swansea has been appointed as Group Document Controller. She has over fifteen years’ experience in the industry, with roles within document control, industry compliance, project monitoring, reporting, company process and systems controls. Eames has predominantly worked on multi-million-pound projects for major international companies such as Tata Steel, VolkerFitzpatrick and Leadbitter Construction.
All three staff members have been appointed within the last two months due to RDM continuing to grow in line with its ongoing expansion plans to a wider and increasing customer base.
Dave Kieft, director and co-owner of RDM Electrical and Mechanical Services, said:
“We are extremely pleased to be expanding our team with the appointments of Anthony, Grant and Helen. With the company continuing its work on long-term substantial contracts, in addition to the recent new business we have acquired, there was a clear need to grow our team with additional talented personnel.
“It is an exciting time for RDM as we look to solidify and grow our delivery capabilities across a wide variety of projects. I am confident that our new additions to the team will boost our already strong employee base and assist us in maintaining our robust reputation in the sector.”
