Towards a Wellbeing Economy | Sector Forum

A Wellbeing Economy is one that serves the wellbeing of people and the planet, instead of one that focusses on the pursuit of economic growth at any cost. It's a paradigm shift, and there's a growing international movement of governments (including Wales) working together to develop new ways of organising society and the economy.

How can we promote the concept of a “wellbeing economy” – and promote new ways of living and working that better serve the well-being of people and planet?  We’ll be talking about Wales’ new Wellbeing Economy Alliance, and clarifying our intent for South West Wales to become the UK’s first Wellbeing Region.  What would that look like, and how are we going to get there?  Please book yourself onto one or more of these forum discussions, to talk with others about joined up strategies and potential collaborations for the greater good.

We’re now convening regional forums for South West Wales, to get clear on what our alliance should focus on, in each of our six impact areas. With everything that’s going on, our region needs us all, more than ever, to work together to support our economy, our communities and the planet. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to get more involved!

Please join our regional alliance, working together for a happy, healthy South West Wales with a flourishing economy.
