Aluminium manufacturing and installation company AB Glass has been praised for its work renewing the windows at Dylan Thomas School, Swansea.
The award-winning Swansea-based company installed the windows in the school’s main corridor just in time for the winter.
As well as improving the appearance of the building, the new windows have enhanced its thermal performance, making it more energy efficient. They also have opening vents to improve ventilation.
Paul J Davies, headteacher of Dylan Thomas School, said:
“We are very grateful for the efforts and support of the team at AB Glass in completing our long corridor glazing project. Their work has made a huge difference already and our staff are delighted to have their new windows just in time for the really cold months ahead.
“The support and communication from Alan and his colleagues has been nothing short of outstanding and any issues have been listened to and dealt with. We will be seeking AB Glass’ help with further improvement work in the New Year.”
Alan Brayley, managing director at AB Glass, said:
“It’s a pleasure to complete this work. The new windows in the school’s long corridor now have vastly enhanced thermal performance, ventilation and visual appearance compared to what was previously installed. It’s hugely satisfying to know that both staff and students are pleased with the results.”
